Florals are rendered primarily in watercolor on either paper or clayboard.
Having grown up on a farm, the artist deeply appreciates nature in it's most
primitive form and recognizes the beauty in the twist and shadowed spaces between
grasses, twigs and leaves. These hidden spaces represent a place of refuge, a
place untouched. Look into the shadows, listen for the voice...look beneath the
beauty of a simple floral.
