Having spent much of her life on the outerbanks of North Carolina, Pegi is inspired by
the ever-changing shore life. Watercolor and pastel mediums are preferred
for representing the beauty and tranquilty of this region. This particular series
was rendered in pastel. The artist is providing us with seasonal looks that hopefully bring
feelings of peace and tranquility to the viewer.
